This Agreement applies to participation in the Resilience and Stress Management Seminar (the "Seminar") organised by Kai Kata FZE (the "Organiser") and conducted in a desert location in the United Arab Emirates ("UAE").

By registering for or attending the Seminar, the participant ("Participant") confirms acceptance of the following terms.

Section 01

Nature of the Seminar

The Seminar may include educational sessions, mindfulness practices, reflective exercises, walking activities, and group discussions conducted partly or entirely in a desert environment.

The Participant acknowledges that the desert is a natural environment where conditions cannot be fully controlled.

Section 02

Assumption of Environmental Risks

The Participant understands and voluntarily accepts that participation may involve inherent risks associated with desert environments, including but not limited to:

The Participant acknowledges that scorpion stings and other wildlife encounters are natural risks in desert areas, even where reasonable precautions are taken.

Participation in the Seminar is voluntary and undertaken at the Participant's own risk.

Section 03

Participant Readiness & Health

The Participant confirms that:

Participants remain responsible for managing their hydration, sun protection, and general well-being during the Seminar.

Section 04

Desert Safety Briefing

Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in removal from the Seminar without refund if deemed necessary for safety.
Section 05

Emergency Medical Authorisation

In the event of illness or injury, the Participant authorises the Organiser to:

The Participant acknowledges that due to the desert location, emergency response times may vary.

The Participant accepts responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.

Section 06

Insurance Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate personal health, travel, or accident insurance covering participation in outdoor activities.

The Organiser does not provide individual participant insurance.

Section 07

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the UAE, the Participant releases and holds harmless the Organiser, its directors, employees, facilitators, contractors, and partners from liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in the Seminar, except in cases of proven gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Section 08

Media Consent

The Participant acknowledges and agrees that photographs, audio recordings, or video recordings may be taken during the Seminar.

By participating in the event, the Participant grants the Organiser permission to use such images or recordings for promotional, communication, or documentation purposes in any media format, without compensation.

Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings should notify the Organiser in writing prior to the event.

Section 09

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be communicated to the Organiser at least seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled start of the Seminar in order to qualify for a refund.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event may not be eligible for a refund unless otherwise agreed by the Organiser.

Section 10

Program Modifications

The Organiser reserves the right to modify the Seminar program, schedule, or location if necessary due to weather conditions, environmental safety concerns, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Section 11

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising in connection with this Agreement shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.

Participant Confirmation

By signing electronically or submitting my registration, I confirm that:

  • I have read and understood this waiver and safety acknowledgment.
  • I voluntarily accept the risks associated with participation in a desert environment.
  • I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the Organiser.
